designed through curiosity,
refined by intention. ✓
I want to be a part of making lives better, no matter how big or small, but most of all, I want to lead a life that questions my assumptions and biases and is guided by empathy and compassion.

MY design process
01 - Discover
What do we think we know and how much of it is actually true? How do novice, average, and experienced users interact with your product? What are all of the possible avenues users are looking for?
02 - Define
Define specific goals and user flows. What do users need? What do users want? Where are pain points and what are the strengths? This is where we get a more solid grounding of the missions of the product.
03 - Ideation
My favorite part of the process! What are possible solutions? Are we trying to reinvent the wheel or actually making a design disruption or decision that is backed by intention? How can we collaborate to make your product helpful and fulfilling? How do different members of your team interact to make your product possible?
04 - Prototype
Now that we've come up with ideas, how do we unify that to into our best informed design at this time? Are all of our pages cohesive and consistent? Is each user flow mapped out and able to be completed? Are the elements on the page working with or against each other?
05 - Testing & Analysis
How are we gaining valuable feedback? Are we asking users the right questions or leading with bias? How can we refine flows after real customer interaction and feedback? What is seamless and easily understood? What is still confusing? What surprised you to find out? (There will always be surprises!) No design is ever quite finished, but how do we consolidate that to make an enjoyable and memorable experience that stands out? And now, we REPEAT!
Featured Projects
In this project, we bridged the gap between back-end developers and front-end design. We were tasked with visually updating the platform, figuring out how to display and organize vast amounts of data information, and how to deal with complex stage environments.
This connected learning platform for safety and compliance focuses on the use of data intelligence and the psychology of learning to improve the retention of compliance and risk training across the workforce. We were tasked with visually modernizing the platform for professionalism while also trying to improve pain points brought up by real current users, both on the front-end and the back-end.
A leading construction expert company who specializes in evaluating damaged structures requested our design expertise in creating a living webpage for their evaluation reports. While they have a highly regarded reputation in the industry, they were worried about staying ahead of the curve and constantly prioritize how to best serve their clients and expand their reach.
An insurance company was having difficulty with their internal management platform. Due to the large number of open cases, the flow needed to be more intuitive for follow ups and renewals. They wanted additional flexibility to compare different insurance packages for their clients and the ability to enter information seamlessly.
Steps for Change is an interactive website aimed at reviving the movement against sexual harassment by educating, connecting and guiding survivors, advocates and offenders towards positive change. Our work was nominated for UXDA's New Talent award, an honor to be considered by a jury from International Design Center Berlin (IDZ) against applicants across the globe.
